World No 1 Lee Chong Wei needed only 33 minutes to beat Peter Gade of Denmark 21-8, 21-16 to win the men's singles title in the BWF World Super Series Masters Finals on Sunday. The Malaysian, who was seeded number one for the year-ending tournament, was in devastating form and showed no mercy for his Danish opponent at the Likas Stadium.

he all-Hong Kong women's singles final was a tame affair with top seeded Zhou Mi making quick work of compatriot Wang Chen, winning comfortably 21-14, 21-18. In the men's doubles, Malaysians Koo Kien Kiat and Tan Boon Heong beat Koreans Jung Jae Sung and Lee Yong Dae.

In the women's doubles Malaysians Chin Eei Hui and Wong Pei Tty overcame Indonesia's Vita Marissa and Lilyana Natsir to lift the crown. The Danish pairing of Thomas Laybourn and Kamilia Rytter took the mixed doubles crown when they beat Indonesians Nova Widianto and Lilyana Natsir. str/rb/hg
